STASHOLOGY: Archeology of my stash

Wool and some colorful yarn

Yarn for some boyfriend projects

Sock and baby yarn

1970's earthtones. I inherited several trash bags full of this stuff. Most of it has been used

Lion Homespun and chenille

Off white and some ombre yarn I bought at a garage sale with some blue yarn in a box for $5

Bright colored yarns

My premium yarns. All sorts of good stuff

Ooops - bought too much. Always pays to note the weight of the yarn before buying.

Blues. Some from the trash bags of yarn I got free, some acquired from the garage sale (it was $5 for the box)

Scraps and leftovers. Don't know what I will do with them but I hate to part with them. So many fond memories

Immediate works in progress. One sweater, two afghans, several pairs of socks.

Here are the shelves my Dad built in the closet in my spare room.

And here are the shelves loaded with the bins of yarn.

Thats one hell of a stash. Ive got a lot of acrylic from the 80's, so like your 70's yarn, it has its charm, only mine is all bright and annoying.

I bought a free standing wardrobe for my stash, but I still keep dragging it all over the house.
